About the Geekery

View Comments

Nonprofits need geeks like us.

We’re on pulse of all the stuff that’s changing the way our constituents want to hear from us.

Nonprofit Geekery is about putting free and inexpensive Web-based social technology to work for your organization. It’s where I write about community engagement, content management, social media strategy, and other stuff.

But I’d also like for the Geekery to be an incubator. A testing ground of the latest widgets, gadgets, integrations, and tools so I can see how they may or not be valuable to readers looking for ways to mobilize constituents, encougage people to take action, or rally around a cause. I’m always testing out new stuff, so why not share what I’ve done?

In the spirit of sharing here’s some insight into how this blog is pieced together.
